Obituary of Rose E. LaBuff

~   Rose E. LaBuff, 94, of Malone, NY., passed away Sunday morning, October 8, 2017, at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena, NY. She had been a patient at the Uihlein Mercy Center, in Lake Placid, NY., from November 1, 2003 until October 6, 2010, and a patient at the Highland Nursing Home from 2010 until her death.
   Born in St. Regis Falls, NY., July 28, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret LaGray Deno.  She attended school in St. Regis Falls.
   In 1942, she was united in marriage to Lester Perault at St. Lawrence Church, in North Lawrence, NY. The marriage ended in divorce. On October 2, 1971, she was united in marriage to Edwin LaBuff. He predeceased her on November 11, 1998.
   Rose was employed by Tru-Stitch Footwear in Malone, NY., form 1970 until 1985.
   She enjoyed walking, reading, puzzles, camping, traveling, dancing, music and spending time with her friends and family. Rose was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to her neighbors, mowing, shoveling and taking them to appointments.
   Survivors include, three sons and four daughters-in -law, Larry and Kathy Perault of Palm Coast, FL., David and Sharon Perault of Council Bluff, IA., and Patrick and Myra Perault of Dothan, AL., and Cara Perault of Ozark, AL., three daughters, and sons-in-law, Linda and Arthur Sweeney of Winthrop, NY., Rosalie and Robert Tummons of Palm Coast, FL., and Bernice and Gregory White of Palm Coast, FL., three stepdaughters, Cheryl Pritchard of Malone, NY., Jean Compeau of Massena, NY., and Patricia Compeau of Tennessee, two sisters in law, Beverly Deno of Brasher Falls, NY., and Connie Deno of North Lawrence, NY., twenty four grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
   Along with her parents and her husbands, she was predeceased by one son, Lester Perault, three brothers, Lawrence, Donald and Frederick Deno and one sister, Mae LaCombe.
   Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 10a.m.-12p.m.at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone, NY.
   Donations may be made in her memory to the Alice Ballard Fund of Hospice of the North Country, Inc. in Malone, NY.
   Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc. of Malone, NY.
