~Madeline P. “Maggie” Perry, age 72, of Malone, NY., passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017, at her home while under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country.
 Born in Malone, NY., on January16, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cordelia Lamica Martin Brooks. She attended local schools.
 On April 21, 1962, she was united in marriage to Thomas R. Perry, Sr. at St. John Bosco Church in Malone. He predeceased her on June 11, 2004.
 Madeline was employed as a cleaner for the Malone Central School District where she last worked at Davis Elementary. She retired on May 31, 2017 due to her health.
 She was a parishioner of St. John Bosco Church in Malone. She was also an avid bingo player where she enjoyed playing at St. John Bosco Church, Holy Family School and the Knights of Columbus in Malone.
 Madeline is survived by four sons and one daughter in law, Thomas R. Perry, Jr. and his wife Christy of Bellefontaine, OH., Joseph Perry and his companion Catherine Stokes of Malone, NY., Timothy Perry and his companion Amy Allen of Zephyrhills, FL., and Terry Perry of Malone, NY., one daughter and son in law, Tina and Shayne Smith of Constable, NY., two brothers and a sister in law, Adrien and Alice Brooks of Malone, NY., and George Brooks of Brushton, NY., and by four sisters, Linda Rheault of Hartford, CT., Susan Donahue of North Bangor, NY., and Beatrice Brooks Warner  and Shirley Brooks Haywood both of Malone, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Chelsea Glenny, Alex Smith, Jenna Smith, Brianna Smith, Joseph Perry Jr., Devin Perry, Dylan Perry and Austin Perry and by a great grandchild, Kasen Glenny.
 Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by nine brothers, Frankie, Francis, Arthur, William, Norman, Raymond, Kenneth and Wilford Brooks and Abraham Martin, by eleven sisters, Sandra Jarvis, Evelyn Lee, Rita Evans, Ida Lambert, Theresa Mallette, Dorothy Friend, Geraldine Jo Rivers, Shirley Johnston, Bertha Shova, Victoria Duemers and Pauline Savoir and by a grandson, Jordan Shayne Smith.
 Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 2-4 - 6-8 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 10 a.m., at St. John Bosco Church in Malone. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone.
 Donations may be made in her memory to the Alice Ballard Fund of Hospice of the North Country Inc.
