Kevin J. Ghostlaw Obituary

Kevin J. Ghostlaw, age 64, of Ogdensburg, N.Y., passed away on December 5, 2023 at his home at Spruce Street IRA.

Born on August 11, 1959 in Malone, N.Y., he was the son of the late William Kenneth and Marion McElwain Ghostlaw. He was a 1980 graduate of Salmon River Central School.

Kevin participated in the Special Olympics with North Star in both Potsdam and Malone and then with the New York State Special Olympics in Buffalo.

Kevin is survived by his brother and his companion Kenneth J. Ghostlaw and Mary Fuller of Massena, N.Y., and a sister Leona Ghostlaw of Massena, as well as many nieces and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents and his sisters Vivian Hamelin and Evelyn McKenzie.

An hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14 from 11-12 at Church of the Sacred Heart in Massena, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Burial will take place in Old St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fort Covington in the spring.

Donations may be made to the Special Olympics.
