Obituary of Audrey A. Mills

It is with great sorrow, we the family, regret to announce the passing of Audrey A. Mills, 77, of Malone. She suffered a stroke on February 28, and after a brave struggle, she died on March 28, 2025, at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. Born on March 4, 1948 in Malone, NY, Audrey was the daughter of Ernest and Velma Mills. Audrey is survived by her brother, Mark Mills of Malone and her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and George Harwood of Malone. Audrey worked at Alice-Hyde Medical Center for 42 years as an LPN nurse. Audrey liked to go to craft fairs and suppers. Her favorite things to do were camping at Meacham Lake Campground, and she loved attending the Franklin County Fair every year. She would go to the fair very early in the morning and stay all day. She could even be seen long before the fair opened. She was a communicant of St. Andre’s Parish and will be missed by all who knew her. Calling Hours will be April 3, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. A burial will follow at the Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone.
