
Obituary of Teresa Latulipe

Teresa Latulipe, age 93, passed away on May 23, 2025, at the Alice Center surrounded by her loving family.
Teresa was born June 23, 1931 in St. Raphael’s, Ontario, daughter of Telesphore and Delima Belisle Dorie. She attended St. Raphael’s Catholic School and graduated from Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School in Cornwall in 1947. She started her working career as a secretary for four years in Cornwall before becoming a bookkeeper for 24 years at Tru-Stitch in Malone until she retired in 1993.
On May 5, 1951, she married Bernard Latulipe in Cornwall. He predeceased her on February 11, 2001. Her son, Philip Latulipe, predeceased her on April 4, 2022.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Lafaver of Fayetteville, NY and Mrs. Glenn (Janet) Fox of Owls Head, NY; two grandchildren, Richard (Dana) Fox of Owls Head, and Mrs. Brian (Michelle) Hart of Owls Head; six great-grandchildren, Alison Laurin of Cornwall, Ontario, Nicholas Hart of Constable, Nathan Hart of Owls Head, Mrs. Luke (Kristen Hart) Prairie of Owls Head, Emma Holton, Mason and Westyn Fox of Owls Head; and three great-great-granddaughters, Hailey and Lainey Prairie of Owls Head and Madelyn Laurin of Cornwall, Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides for her parents, husband and son, she was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert Ashley, and her grandson, Norman Ashley, as well as two brothers and five sisters.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Bombay and Notre Dame in Malone. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, crossword puzzles and her computer.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Church in Malone, NY. A burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Bombay following the service with the funeral reception following at the Bombay Park Pavilion.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Charities or St. Andre’s Parish.
