Charles G. Shonyo Obituary

Charles G. Shonyo, 93, of Constable, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at his home.


Charles was born February 15, 1932 in Burke, the son of Lawrence and Sarah (Toland) Shonyo.


Charles served in the Army during the Korean War. He then worked for 30 years at Reynold’s Metals in Massena.


Charles was predeceased by his wife Adele; brothers, Robert Shonyo, Gerald Shonyo, Walter and Wilfred; sisters, Mrs. John Eleanor Coughlin and Christine Perry; and a grandson, Brandon.


He is survived by sons, Tommy and Helen of Constable, Jerry of Malone, Michael and Amy of Norfolk; daughters, Joan Onorati of Jaffrey, NH; and Kim and Roland Murray of Peterborough, NH; Janice Glasgow of Jaffery, NH; as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
