Helen L. Fleury, 94, of Constable passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 in Massena.

Born in Malone, NY, June 30, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Oliver Roland and Addie (Prue) LaPrad of Constable. She was a graduate of the Franklin Academy class of 1948. Helen worked in the office of several Malone business, Tru-stitch Footwear Company, and the KarlsKent Insurance Co.

On September 3, 1955 she was united in marriage to Francis (Frank) Fleury, at St. Francis Assisi Church in Constable, NY by the late Msgr. F. Gordon Coseo. Frank predeceased her in August of 2021 at the age of 92.

They loved travel. Along with Frank, Helen was a charter member of the Border Eagles Motorcycle Club, lifelong member of the American Motorcycle Club, and a 50 year member of the Retreads Motorcycle Club. She and Frank were avid motorcyclists for more than 50 years. They attended motorcycle rallies in Laconia, NH for 25 years. She was also a longtime member of the Winnebago Travel Club. Helen and Frank travelled cross country twice, and they wintered in Zephyrhills, FL, for 26 years.

Besides Frank and her parents, Helen was predeceased by her sister Eleanor Laprad Fleury and brothers Oliver and Joseph LaPrad. She is survived by Joe’s wife, her sister-in-law, Theresa LaPrad, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service. Following calling hours, a funeral service will be held at the funeral home.

Memorial Donations in Helen’s name may be made to the Westville Volunteer Fire Department or EMS.
