Jeannette M. St. Ann, 94, passed away on August 17, 2025 at Massena Memorial Hospital after being admitted on August 7, 2025.

Jeannette was born on April 29, 1931, the daughter of Eugene and Lillian (Wiseman) Reid.

Jeannette married Lester St. Ann on September 5, 1949 at St. Joseph’s Church in Huntington, Quebec, Canada. She was a proud homemaker, making sure her family was taken care of as well as the farm. She enjoyed gardening, visiting friends, dining out, going to the casino and especially spending time with her family.

Jeannette is survived by her two sons, Reid St. Ann of Westville and Tom and Donna (Therrien) St. Ann of Fort Covington; her daughter, Faye Ross of Moira; a sister, Evelynn Reid Park of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Lillian (Wiseman) Reid; sisters, Helen, Alice, Murial and Louise; brothers, Robert, Rene, Donald and Stanley; two daughters, Jane St. Ann Tarbell, who passed on April 10, 2018 and Karen St. Ann Brown, who passed on May 3, 2024; a great grandson, Kashton St. Ann Mims, who was born on January 4, 2023 and passed on August 1, 2025; three sons-in-law, Robert Tarbell of Hogansburg, Howard Ross of Moira and James Brown; as well as a daughter-in-law, Carol (Bashaw) St. Ann.

Calling Hours will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Fort Covington. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1. Following Mass, interment will take place at St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Trout River. There will be a meal at the Legion after her services have concluded.
