Loretta M. Dustin, 83, of Malone, passed away on October 4, 2025. She was born June 7, 1942, in Ontario to Margaret and Leo Sauve.

Loretta was one of fifteen children. She moved to the United States at the age of 16. She was proud of the work she could accomplish. She worked at the Malone Dress Factory from the time it opened until it closed, she was a waitress and cook for different restaurants in the area, she worked at Tru-Stitch Retail as a clerk, and she worked as a seamstress from home altering and making gowns for many years until 2018.

Loretta is survived by her partner of 35 years, Roy Collins; a son, Craig Bombard and his fiance Tiffany Rovito of Constable; a daughter, Kim and Loyd Peck of Syracuse; and brothers, Bernie Sauve of Brushton, Laurier “Lolly” Sauve of Malone, Earl (Sherri) Sauve of Malone, Steven (Martha) Sauve of Newark, NY, Ronald (Patsy) Sauve of Burke and Leon Sauve of Maryland; and sisters, Eileen Otis and Merle of Theresa, NY, and Shirley Dustin of Lakeland, Florida; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Margaret; a son, Terry Bombard; a daughter, Tammy Deuyour; brothers, Raymond Sauve, Eugene Sauve, Lawrence Sauve, Lloyd Sauve and Gerald Sauve; and a sister in infancy.
