Evelyn Louella Gary, 65, of Massena, passed away on October 3, 2025, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital where she had been a patient. She was born March 5, 1960, in Malone, the daughter of James H. Sr. and Avalin (Deshane) Nason.

Evelyn worked at KFC in Massena for a period of time and was also a homemaker and housekeeper for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and family get-togethers.

Evelyn is survived by a son, Joseph Regan of Unadilla, NY; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Barbara Nason of Malone, NY; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Bertha Pittsley, Virginia Crump and her husband, Greg Bouchard; three step-sisters, Jane Welshman of Massena, Margaret Nason of Gloversville and Tracy Palmer of Esperance, NY; her godson, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; as well as cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was predeceased by her grandparents; her father, James, in 1998; her mother, Avalin, in 2018; her brother, James, in October of 2024; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, October 24 from 1pm to 2pm at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service.
