Mabel A. LaBrake Obituary
Mabel Aedele LaBrake passed away November 14, 2025 in the care of the Alice Center.
She was born May 10, 1931, the daughter of William and Ethel (Skiff) Johnson in Bloomingdale, NY.
She graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1949.
She married Leon A. LaBrake on October 11, 1951, at St. Paul’s Church in Bloomingdale, NY.
Leon predeceased her in June of 1995 as well as her infant daughter, Karen, in 1953.
She is survived by her son, James LaBrake and his wife Nancy; brother, Russell and Annette Johnson; sister, Phyllis King; as well as grandsons, Brandon and Nolan LaBrake.
She was predeceased by brothers, Harold Paye, Francis and Charles Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Bloomingdale at the families convenience.
