William Roger Delarm, 92, of North Bangor, NY passed away on February 7, 2026. Bill was born to the late Ralph & Beatrice (Champine) Delarm on December 9, 1933, in Malone, NY.
Bill married Barbara A. Ashline on October 15,1960, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Malone, NY. They were married for 65 years. Their only child, William Alex Delarm, was born on February 29, 1964, and passed away on January 29, 2020.
Bill was a well-known & hardworking farmer and cattle dealer in the North Country and owned and operated Bill Delarm & Son Inc. along with his son, Billy. He was also a captivating ringman working with E.J.Treadway in their auction service, Delarm & Treadway Auction Service. He never retired until he was in his 80s and even then, felt inclined to engage in a partnership with Michael Martin and Dale Chapin in an effort to revive a restaurant in North Bangor, NY.
Private 1st Class William Delarm was a veteran; he served in the U.S. Army (1956 -1958) and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a communicant of St. Augustine's Catholic Church, North Bangor, NY and a member of Malone Lodge of Elks. He was also a past director of the Franklin County Agricultural Society and a member of the Harness Horse Breeders of New York State. He enjoyed playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and owning, training, and racing harness horses.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Delarm; granddaughters, Sandra Lynn (Kyle) Barney and Erica Nicole Delarm; Erica's boyfriend, Gregory St. Hilaire; great-grandson, Brayden William Barney; daughter-in-law, Charlene Titus Delarm and all of North Bangor, NY.
In addition to his parents and son, he was predeceased by his brothers, Robert Delarm (2022) and John (Jack) Delarm (2022) and his sister, Beverly Delarm Paquin (2008).
Funeral arrangements are through Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service. Calling hours will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, February 19, 2026, prior to the Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11:00 am at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, North Bangor. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Brushton, NY in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Michael J. Fox Foundation, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, or your favorite charity.
