Pansy Mainville Perry, 78, of Fort Covington, NY passed away unexpectedly at her home which she shared with her daughter and grandchildren.

Pansy was born January 9, 1948, she was the daughter of John and Gladys Mainville of Fort Covington, they predeceased her. Pansy is survived by a daughter, Natasha Perry, and her companion, Roy Barrick, along with three grandchildren, Zoie and Zahira Shatlaw and Bentley French, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pansy worked most of her life at Tru-Stitch Footwear in Malone, NY until the time of its closure. She later worked for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, IRA home until her retirement.

Pansy was predeceased by her brother, Arnold Mainville, Loren Mainville, and a sister, Carleen Mainville Burditt, all of Fort Covington, along with her brother, Gayle Mainville of Malone. Pansy was also predeceased by a brother, Neilon Mainville in infancy.

Pansy enjoyed puzzles, playing cards and watching old classic movies, along with visiting with family and friends. Pansy will be remembered for her compassion and willingness to give to others; she was one who would give the shirt off her back to help others less fortunate.

Pansy’s greatest joy was spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, who she loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life for Pansy will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1pm-6pm at the Fort Covington Fire Department.
