Gregory T. Cromp Jr., age 59, of Malone, NY passed away on May 25, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born on May 7, 1967 in Malone, NY to Gregory and Lorriane (Whitney) Cromp.

Greg graduated from Franklin Academy in 1986. He was proud to be an American who served in the US Navy then honed his carpentry skills. Many people were blessed by Greg's talents through new construction and home renovations in New York and Michigan. He cared for his customers so much he added them to his friends list.

Greg was a Christian man with an edgy sense of humor, a crazy love for his wife and children, and desire to make sure those he loved were cared for. He was a proud grandfather. He loved and adored each of his grandchildren. He set a shining example of a father's love for each child in their unique needs. Every child who was around him knew they were loved and safe. His love for his wife was almost ridiculous.

Many people will remember Greg for being gregarious, telling corny dad jokes (repeatedly), striking a conversation with anybody, his shenanigans, taking any moment to embarrass his children, and his big heart. He was known for helping his family and friends, always available by phone for anybody, and his humor. He thought his wife didn't know how often he left work early for fishing, hunting, golf or lunch with his dad and brothers. He enjoyed tinkering and could fix anything.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; father, Greg Sr.; father-in-law, Donald Collette; children and their spouses/partners, Daniel and Ambar, Camisha, Cally and Tyler, Kianna and Eli, Nathan and Jade; grandchildren, Noah, Addison, Kaleb, Carissa, and Ailis; siblings, Brenda, Luke, Johnny, Martha, and Joshua; along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

All are welcome to join the family to pay their final respects on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday, June 1, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the New Covenant Church in Malone, NY. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
