Pauline M. Fleury of Malone, NY, passed away Tuesday, June 2nd, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Chateaugay, NY, June 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Myers and Marion (Goodchild) Santamore. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1947.

On June 30, 1949, she was united in marriage to Neil Fleury. He predeceased her on April 1, 2014.

Pauline worked at Montgomery Ward and Consolidated Footwear. She later helped her husband at the family business, Fleury’s Floor Covering.

After raising 11 children, she took several trips and cruises and enjoyed her winters in Florida. She liked camping and to read and do crossword puzzles, especially while Neil played the organ.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Brenda Fleury of Constable, Thomas and Dawn Fleury and David Fleury of Malone; seven daughters and four sons-in-law, Kay Debyah of Constable, Susan and Gary Tiernan of Waddington, Barbara Cornell of Cortland, Anne Scott of Tallahassee, FL, Mary and Allan Friend of Burke, Jane and Scott Degon of Constable and Joanne and David Olson of Brunswick, GA; two brothers and their spouses, Joe and Phyllis Santamore, Mike and Jean Santamore all of Constable; and one sister and her spouse, Joyce and Wendell Denny of Malone; 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Carol Grogan; three sons-in-law, Gary Debyah, Charles Scott and Robert Cornell; one brother, Robert Santamore; and one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Bannon and her husband Bernard.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame Church in Malone on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Malone Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
