Obituary of Patricia V. Peach

Patricia V. Peach, age 74, of Malone, NY., passed away on Thursday afternoon, February 23, 2017, at The Alice Center, in Malone, while under the loving care of her family, The Alice Center staff and Hospice of the North Country. She had been a resident there since April 21, 2016. Born in Hartford, CT., on May 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Arlene Taylor Stone Lanagan. She attended and graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester, CT. On March 17, 1962, she was united in marriage to William J. Peach in Lowville, NY. He predeceased her on May 31, 2010. Patty was a loving and devoted mom, wife and grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Andre’ Bessette Parish, at Notre Dame Church, in Malone, NY. Her and Bill’s home was always open for family, friends and neighbors to stop by and visit over a nice hot cup of coffee. She truly treasured all the time spent with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending their sporting events. Patty also enjoyed her time communicating with family and friends on Facebook. Patty is survived by one son and daughter in law, Shawn and Nanette Peach of Coventry, CT., three daughters and sons in law, Kelly and Donald Sherwin, Corri and Jody Johnston and Kathleen and Daniel Barron all of Malone, two sisters and a brother in law, Carol and Thomas McNally of Tolland, CT., and Maureen Tavaglione of Merritt Island, FL., one brother and two sisters in law, John and Lyn Lanagan of Andover, CT., and Carol Plumadore of Manchester, CT. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Bethany McGovern, Blaine McGovern, Ashlee Brown, Steven Marshall, Ryan Johnston, Jade Sherwin and Brady Sherwin, by one great granddaughter, Olivia Brown, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Lanagan, her sister, Kathleen Matson and by her two granddaughters, Caitlin and Makenna Peach. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, from 12-1:45 pm at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2pm at Notre Dame Church, in Malone. Burial will take place in the Spring in Notre Dame Cemetery.
