Obituary of Joan M. Wright

Joan M. Wright, 55, of Burke, NY., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 24, 2018, at the U.V.M. Health Care Network Alice Hyde Medical Center, in Malone, NY.

Born in Boston, MA., August 21, 1962, she was the daughter of William and Mary Ann Poulton Skiffington.

Joan was a homemaker.

Survivors include her father, William Skiffington of Oklahoma, two daughters, Felicia Gonzales of Owls Head, NY., and Angela Wright of Burke, NY., four brothers, one sister, three grandchildren, Tiana Gonzales, and Brodie and Jayden Augusta all of Malone, NY., and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Ann Skiffington.

There are no calling hours. A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home Chapel, in Malone, NY., with the Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating.
