Rita Anne Tripeny was much more than the lady as outlined in the brief obituary reflected recently upon her passing.
Especially, to all the lives she touched in the St. Lawrence Central Community of friends, students, parents, and residents of the towns within the school district. In her years as a master teacher, counselor, advisor, and friend to hundreds of us, she will be remembered as one the best teachers in our memory. Her countless hours spent enriching the high school experience for her students will be remembered with thanks, gratitude, and appreciation. As a grateful member of the community of students, fellow teachers, parents, and friends, we salute the career of Rita A. Tripeny, a St. Lawrence Central faculty Treasure. She will be missed and remembered as a true stalwart of the legion of employees and staff at SLC. A Larrie forever! submitted by warren dyke one of the fortunate to have known her.

Miss Tripeny was a great educator, community member, and neighbor.
John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
