Obituary of Lynn A. Cole
Lynn A. Cole, 53, of Ticonderoga, NY., and formerly of Malone, NY., passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at the Moses Lundington Hospital, in Ticonderoga, NY.
Born in Holyoke, MA., June 28, 1966, he was the son of the late Maurice A. and Evelyn Hammond Cole, Jr.
Lynn was employed on the Poupore and Ken Rouselle farms in North Bangor, NY., for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his friends and family especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Jason Cole and his companion, Michelle Welch of Mineville, NY., three daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy Cole-Fleury and her husband, Mark Fleury of Ticonderoga, NY., Samantha Cole and her companion, Fred Decker of Malone, NY., and Kierston Cole and her companion, Case Sorce of Rochester, NY., four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Anthony and Amber Cole of Dickinson, NY., Ronald Cole of Little Falls, NY., Donald and Lisa Cole of South Carolina, and Gary Cole of Carthage, NY., eight grandchildren, Dakota and Julian Fleury, Emmett and Zayne Sorce, Jacob Russell, Mark Fleury, Jr., and Trever and Tori Fleury, and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He had two special nephews, Matthew Cole of Crown Point, NY., and Aron Cole of Dickinson, NY., and his best friends, Scott, Mark and Mike.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Scott L. Cole on February 27, 1985 and one granddaughter, Maya Russell.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from Noon until 1 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY., A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Arthur Preve officiating. Burial will be in St. John Bosco Cemetery, in Malone, NY. After the burial, there will be a Celebration of His Life and luncheon at the Brushton-Moira American Legion, in Moira, NY.
Donations may be made in his memory to the H.K Freedman Renal Center in Plattsburgh, NY.
