Obituary of William N. Marshall
William “Bill” N. Marshall, 70, of Malone, NY., passed away early Friday morning, November 15, 2019, at the U.V.M. Health Care Facility, in Burlington, VT., with his loving family by his bedside.
Born in Malone, NY., August 10, 1949, he was the son of Frank and Janet Marshall Marshall. He graduated from Franklin Academy, in Malone, in 1969.
Bill served in the United States Navy from 1969 until his Honorable Discharge in 1974. He also served in the National Guard and New York State Reserves.
He was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation Bridge Repair Department for more than thirty four years. He retired in 2012.
He was a member of the Malone American Legion and a past member of the Owl Mountain Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and telling extra tall tales.
On August 9, 1975, he was united in marriage to the former Sharon A. Monette at St. Joseph’s Church, in Owls Head. NY. She survives.
Along with his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his father and step mother, Frank and Theresa Marshall of Malone, NY., three daughters and a son-in-law, Lori and Christopher Beach of Owls Head, NY., Darci Marshall and her companion, Steven Honahan of Champlain, NY., and Madison Marshall of Malone, six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Robert and Tammy Marshall of Burke, NY., Kenneth and Rose Marshall of Malone, NY., Allen and Melissa Marshall of Malone, NY., Jerry and Lori Pulsifer of South Carolina, Norman and Jacquelyn Pulsifer, Sr. of Sodus, NY., and Larry Pulsifer, Sr. of Owls Head, NY., four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Maureen Soulia of Burke, NY., Veronica and Donald Nichols of Chateaugay, NY., Connie and Robert McDonald of Chateaugay, NY., and Pamela Gladstone of Scottsville, NY., two grandsons, Luke and Christopher Beach, one great grandson, Jackson Klusmeyer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother and step father, Janet and Norman Pulsifer and one sister, Tracy Ann Pulsifer and a brother-in-law, Michael Soulia.
Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.
