Obituary of Bernard E. Trombley
Bernard E. Trombley, 80, of North Bangor, NY., passed away Sunday morning, November 17, 2019, at the U.V.M. Medical Center in Malone, NY., with his loving family by his side.
Born in Malone, NY., March 13, 1939, he was the son of the late William and Irene Lamica Trombley. He attended Franklin Academy in Malone.
For more than twenty eight years, Bernard was employed by ALCOA in Massena, NY. He retired in 1990.
He was a member of the ALCOA Twenty Five Year Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and helping others in their time of need.
On August 6, 1960, he was united in marriage to the former Nancy Graves. She predeceased him on January 18, 2013.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Eleanor Trombley of North Bangor, NY., and William “Bill” and Angela Trombley of Whippleville, NY., one son-in-law, Richard Jarvis of Malone, NY., four brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary “Joe” and Joan Trombley of Columbus, GA., Michael Trombley and Richard and Dawn Trombley all of Malone, NY., and Robert and Diane Trombley of Columbus, GA., two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dixie and James Dupra and Wanda Ruzzoli all of Malone, NY., six grandchildren, Melissa Seymour and her husband Austin of Malone, NY., Matthew Jarvis and his wife, Andrea of Plattsburgh, NY., Thomas and Tyler Trombley of Whippleville, NY., Bernard Trombley and his companion, Desiree Cayea of Westville, NY and Kimberly Wright of Malone, NY., nine great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his faithful companion, his dog “Haydee”
Along with his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by one son, Thomas Trombley, one daughter, Debra Jarvis, two brothers, Charles and Eugene Trombley and two sisters, Vivien Lamica and Viola Recore.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in St. John Bosco Cemetery, in Malone, NY., on a date and time to be announced.
