Obituary of James A. Wright

   James A. “Jimmy” Wright, 66, of Malone, NY., passed away Saturday morning, November 30, 2019, at the U.V.M. Health Network Alice Hyde Medical Center, in Malone, NY., surrounded by his loving family.
   Born in Malone, NY., November 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Walter and Joyce Paquin Wright. He graduated from Franklin Academy, in Malone.
   On August 30, 1981, he was united in marriage to the former JoEllen Bonville in Whippleville, NY. She survives. The marriage ended many years ago.
   Jim was a wholesale florist for over thirty years in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Northern New York. He retired in 2011.
   He loved being in the woods and gathering moss, and working on his Plymouth Road Runner.
   Survivors include his long time companion, Sharon Darwish of Scranton, PA., four daughters and two sons-in-law, Joelle Wright-Bonner of Montana, Carrie and Dustin Windle of Flagstaff, AZ., Jessica and Manuel Caban of Malone, NY., and Cassandra Santana of Paris, TN., one sister, Jackie Lauzon and her companion, Pat Dermody of Westville, NY., eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
   Along with his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, John Tebeau and his faithful dog “Cujo“.
   There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service and burial will be held Friday, December 6, 2019, at 1 p.m., at St. Helen’s Cemetery, in Chasm Falls, NY.
   Donations may be made in his memory to the Malone Volunteer Fire Department or E.M.S., or the American Cancer Society.
