Obituary of Faith C. Dixon

   Faith C. Dixon, of Malone, NY., passed away Tuesday morning, December 3, 2019, at The Alice Center, in Malone, NY.
   Born in Malone, NY., she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Irene Talon Miller, She graduated from Franklin Academy, in Malone.
   In December of 1955, she was united in marriage to Ronald R. Fisher at St. Joseph’s Church, in Malone, NY. The marriage ended in divorce. He predeceased her on September 23, 1996. On July 26, 1966, she was united in marriage to John F. Dixon, at the United Methodist Church, in Malone, NY. He survives.
   Many years ago, Faith was employed in Malone, at Sears, Tru-Stitch Footwear and the Malone Dress Factory. She later was employed by Clinton Correctional Facility as a telephone operator. She retired in 1973.
   She enjoyed dancing, listening to music and reading. He favorite times were spent in her car going for a ride and stopping to pray.
   Along with her husband, John, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Mary Fisher of Malone, NY., one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Dan Armstrong of Westville, NY., four grandchildren, Adam Fisher, April Wood, Tristin Fisher and Ethan Fisher, seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Besides her parents and her first husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Gary and James Miller and two sisters, Georgia Gilkey and Joan Perry.
   Calling hours will be Thursday from Noon until 2 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the new St. Joseph’s Cemetery, on the Child Road in Malone, NY.
