Obituary of Harrison F. Perry

Harrison F. “Bub” Perry, 84, of Malone, NY., passed away Wednesday night, March 18, 2020, at the Adirondack Medical Center, in Saranac Lake, NY., with his loving family by his side. He had been a patient there since March 15.
Born in Malone, NY., June 19, 1935, he was the son of the late John and Hattie Hill Perry. He attended Malone schools.
On June 15, 1957, he was united in marriage to the former Clara R. Spinner, at St. John Bosco Church, in Malone, NY. She predeceased him on June 20, 2017.
As a young man, Harrison worked on the family farm. He later was employed by the Union Construction Local, and worked on the construction of the Bare Hill and Franklin Correctional Facilities, in Malone. He retired several years ago.
He was a Life Member of the Malone Fish and Game Club and a past member of the Malone Lodge of Moose and the Notre Dame Holy Name Society. Bub spent many hours in his woodworking shop, chatting with his family and friends, while he produced wishing wells, bird feeders, bird houses and many different wind mills and lawn ornaments. He enjoyed the company of his cat, Emma.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Kenny “K-Dog” Marshall of Malone, NY., two brothers and a sister-in-law, Floyd Perry and his companion Diane “Bunny” Allen of Malone, NY and Carl and Rosemary Perry of Malone, NY., two sisters, Shirley Boyea and her companion, Wesley Reynolds of Malone, NY., and Betty Fassett of Malone, NY., one grandson, Aaron Marshall of Wake Forest, NC., one great grandson, Aiden Southworth of North Bangor, NY., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by five brothers, James, Ronald, Allen, Clifford and Maurice Perry and two sisters, Phyllis Shonyo and Dorothy Mae Perry.
There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service and burial will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020, at noon, in Notre Dame Cemetery, in Malone, NY., with the Rev. Arthur Preve officiating.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Malone Fish and Game Club.
