Obituary of Kelly J. French

Kelly J. French, 54, of North Bangor, NY., passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at The Alice Center, in Malone, NY., surrounded by his loving family. Born in Malone, NY., June 30, 1966, he was the son of the late Arnold and Betty Martin French. He graduated from Brushton-Moira High School in 1984. Kelly was employed by the Town of Brandon, Alger Farm in Chateaugay, NY., and lastly Childstock Farm in Malone, NY. He was a member of the N.R.A. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, trapping and garage sales. Kelly was an avid NASCAR fan and his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. His favorite times were spent with his family especially his nieces and nephews. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Bonnie French and Timothy and Tracey French all of North Bangor, NY., one nephew, Allen Smith, three nieces, Shawna French- Holmes and her husband, Zach Holmes, Shani Holcomb and Nina French and her companion, Adam Dishaw and several great nieces and nephews, Nevaeh Scott, Logan, Garrett, Julian, McKenzie and Dawson Smith, Liya and Owen Holmes and Alannah and Remington Dishaw. A Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Thursday July 16, 2020, at 1 p.m. in the Stevens Cemetery, in Brandon, NY., with the Rev. Juanita Brooks officiating. Donations may be made in his memory to The Alice Center, in Malone, NY. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brusofuneralservice.com. Family and friends are welcome to join the family immediately following the burial service for a Celebration of Kelly’s Life, at the home of Shawna Holmes, 32 Mecham Road, Dickinson, NY. 12930.
