Obituary of Deborah J. Prevost

Deborah J. Prevost, 67, of Brushton, NY., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 1, 2020, at her home. Born in Hartland, ME, August 23, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dolores Doyle Southard. She graduated from high school in 1971. She was employed by Dr. Stu Stevens at the Animal Clinic of Malone, for ten years as an animal handler. She was also a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for more than fifteen years. On September 25, 1976, she was united in marriage to Edward Prevost in Windsor, CT. He predeceased her on April 30, 1997 Deborah was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed reading, watching football and cheering for her “LA Rams”. Her most cherished times were spent with her friends and family, especially her granddaughter, Savannah Survivors include; two sons, Matthew Prevost and his companion, Elizabeth Deragon of St. Regis Falls, NY, and Joshua Prevost and his wife, Anne Marie of Bloomingdale, NY, two sisters, Denise Leiper of Ausable Forks, NY, and Inez Southard of Little Falls, MN, two grandchildren, Savannah and Grace Prevost and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be Friday, October 23, 2020, from 1 until 3 p.m., at the Anderson Funeral Home, in St. Regis Falls, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Alfred Fish officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, in St. Regis Falls, NY.
