Carlton J. Reome, 80, of Malone, NY, passed away Friday afternoon, November 20, 2020, at the U.V.M. Health Care Network Alice Hyde Medical Center, in Malone, NY. He had been a patient there since November 16.
Born in Malone, NY, July 2, 1940, he was the son of the late Gilbert H. and Georgianna McDonald Reome. He attended local schools.
On April 12, 1964, he was united in marriage to the former Donna Ploof in Malone, NY. The marriage ended in divorce. On August 20, 1982, he was united in marriage to the former Eunice Dumas in Malone, NY. She predeceased him on February 28, 2020.
Carlton was employed by Agway Energy Products in Malone, NY, as a technician for many years. He retired in 2002.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing country music with several bands in the North Country for more than twenty years.
Survivors include four daughters and one son-in-law, Tammy Smith of Constable, NY, Kelly and Bob Hyland of Orange City, FL, Lynn Lefebvre and her companion, Kenneth Pritchard of Malone, NY, and Tonia Reome and her companion, Vernon Rivers of Constable, NY, four stepdaughters, Brenda LaCroix and her husband, Jerry of Malone, NY, Linda Trimm and her husband, Bruce of Malone, NY, Tammy Barse and her husband, Stephen of Fort Covington, NY, and Karen Lunan of Malone, NY, four stepsons, Robert Lunan and his wife, Rosa of Malone, NY, Jeffrey Lunan of Jupiter, FL, Brian Lunan and his wife, Gayle of Malone, NY, and Steven Lunan of Jupiter, FL, one brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Brenda Reome of Westville, NY, and one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Ashline of Malone, NY, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and his wife Eunice, he was predeceased by one brother, Robert Reome.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
