Lise M. Arseneault, 83, of Owls Head, New York, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her home.
Born in St. Germaine de-Gratham, Quebec on July 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Albert Fagnant and Laura Picard.
On October 28th, 1961, she married Marcel Arseneault in St. Edmund Grantham, Quebec. He predeceased her on May 22, 2007.
She was a Canadian schoolteacher, worked at Uniroyal in Connecticut, and later worked as a stitcher at Tru-Stitch in Malone, NY. From 1985-2000.
Lise was a member of St. Andre Bessette Parish in Malone, the Owls Head-Mountain View Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was a vendor at the Malone Farmers Market. She cherished her beloved grandson Nathan. She enjoyed raising chickens, gardening, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law; Dennis and Jane Arseneault of Plattsburgh NY., and Patrick Arseneault of Peru, NY., as well as one sister Lucie Martell of Drummondville, Quebec and a grandson Nathan Arseneault of Plattsburgh NY.
Along with her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by her two brothers Charles and Robert Fagnant, and a sister Roselle Poirier.
Calling Hours will take place at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, NY., on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021, from 2-5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday, January 13th at Notre Dame Church in Malone, NY.
Donations may be made to the Owls Head-Mountain View Vol. Fire Department, Malone Farmers Market or the American Red Cross.
