Obituary of Russell W. Brockway

Russell W. Brockway, 65, of Fort Covington, NY., passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the University of Vermont Health Network: Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in the City of Plattsburgh, NY. Born in Malone, NY., July 5, 1955, he was the son of William and Loretta Russell Brockway. He graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Malone. Russell was a dairy farmer, owning and operating Brockway’s Hilltop Dairy Farm in Fort Covington. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and he loved showing cattle at the fair. On August 21, 1976, he was united in marriage to the former Pamela Vincellette at St. Mary’s of the Fort Church, in Fort Covington. She survives. Along with his wife, he is survived by his mother Loretta Brockway of Fort Covington; a son and daughter-in-law Michael and Tira Brockway of Fort Edward, NY.; a daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Richard Redmond of Fort Covington; two brothers and their wives Kevin and Lorrie Brockway of Fort Covington and William and Sue Brockway of Syracuse, NY., as well as his seven grandchildren; Chris, Robert, Alex, Johl, Jakob, Tieryn and Tahlyn. Russell was predeceased by his father William. There are no calling hours. A private graveside service and burial will be held in the spring at Old St. Mary‘s Cemetery in Fort Covington, NY.
