Obituary of Judith A. Gardner

~Judith A. Gardner, 73, of Malone, NY., passed away Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017, at the Alice Center, in Malone, NY., with her loving family by her side. She had been a resident there since March 21.
   Born in Malone, NY., April 7, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Geneva Robinson Boyea. She attended local schools.
   On May 13, 1961, she was united in marriage to Gary H. Gardner, Sr., in Malone, NY. He predeceased her on July 21, 1989.
   Judith was employed by Com-Links in Malone, for twelve years. She later worked for the Office of the Aging, in Malone, for twenty years, retiring in 2013.
   After her retirement, she continued to volunteer at the Office of the Aging. She enjoyed word puzzles, playing scrabble, going for rides in the countryside, and her many cats throughout the years. Her favorite memories were times spend with her family on the holidays.
   Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Gary and Tracy Gardner, Jr., of Chateaugay Lake, NY., three daughters, Vicki Vaillancourt and Tammy Malagon both of Malone, NY.,  and Lori Plowman and her fiancée Andy Beeman of Sandy Creek, NY., nine grandchildren, Dustin and Austin Gardner, Jaie Vaillancourt, Patrick Malley, Zabrina, Andrea and Brandon Malagon, Christopher Plowman and his wife, Brooke and Kourtni Brown and her husband John, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
   Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Timothy Boyea, Sr.
   Calling hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, in Malone, NY.
   Donations may be made in her memory to either the Malone Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department or to the St. Jude Fund.
   Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc. of Malone, NY.
