Obituary of Linda Lee Pickering

Linda Lee Pickering, 55, of Malone, NY, passed away Friday night, June 11, 2021, at C.V.P.H., in Plattsburgh, NY, with her loving family by her side. Born in Syracuse, NY, January 20, 1966, she was the daughter of James and Shirley Gravlin Pitsley. She graduated from Franklin Academy, in Malone. On August 25, 2012, she was united in marriage to William Pickering, Sr. in Bangor, NY. He survives. Linda was a homemaker. She enjoyed homecrafts and playing Uno and Bingo. Along with her husband, William, she is survived by her mother, Shirley Pitsley of Malone; five sons, James E. Dumas, II., of Ellenburg, NY, Sonny J. Dumas of Potsdam, NY, Nathan S. Sauve of Malone, NY, Timothy Pickering of Malone, NY, and William Pickering, Jr. of Malone, NY; four daughters and a son-in-law, Naomi and Brad Guerin of Ellenburg Depot, NY, Bambi Jo Gravlin of Rouses Point, NY, Maggie LaMere of Constable, NY, and Porshea Kinnerson of Virginia; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathy Luckette of Massena, NY, and Christine and David Porter of Florida, nine grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, James Pitsley. Calling hours will be on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 10 a.m. until Noon, in the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at Noon, in the Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Billy Bond officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
