I only recently found out that my cousin Louise had died. Her mother, Aline Marion, was my mother’s oldest sister and my godmother. All of my memories of Louise from age four on involved laughter. My mother moved me and my older brother to Malone/Mountain View in the early ‘60s when my dad was deployed to the DMZ in South Korea. Louise was age 16 to my four. When Louise was working in town, she stayed with us and shared my mother’s bed. She was tiptoeing in, more than slightly drunk, when the necklace of large plastic beads broke. Louise stepped on some beads and slipped on her back onto the floor, feet first under the bed, only her head sticking out. My mother leaned over and hissed, “You’re drunk!” to which Louise responded very properly, “Yes, Ma Tante, that I am.” Louise was loving, loyal, and a wonderful example of dedicated parenting. She was not a housewife but a home-maker. I last saw Louise at my mother’s funeral in Crysler, Ontario in 2010. Thanks, Louise, for the love and the laughter you showed a little cousin. Say “Hi!” to my mom and yours for me.

My sincere condolences to all the family. I was so sadden to hear the passing of Louise. Bill and Louise were friends ofy parents (Frank and Joan Sansone). I spent many times listening from my bedroom all the fun they had in our basement. Louise would play the old piano we had, Bill played.his guitar, and Howard Blanchard would play the drums. We were too young to participate so we were sent to bed early. Then when I was older I would babysit for Louise and Bill while my parents would go to Marion's in mountain view. So many memories. Louise was always so nice. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers to all.
