~Neil D. Reome, 62, of Malone, NY., passed away Thursday morning, June 15, 2017, at his home, while under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the North Country, Inc.
   Born in Malone, NY., August 15, 1954, he was the son of the late Romeo and Hazel Rousseau Reome. He attended local schools.
   On March 5, 1983, he was united in marriage to the former Willadean Hoseler, in Constable, NY. She predeceased him on October 30, 2011.
   He served in the United States Army, from 1974 until his Honorable Discharge in 1980.
   Neil began his working career at Botto’s Farm, in Malone, NY. He later worked in the factory at Tru-Stitch Footwear, in Malone. After the closing of the factory, he was employed by Schwan’s Food Service, in Malone. He then worked for fifteen years for Franklin County in the maintenance department at the Court House and also the Nursing Home. He retired in 2007, because of his health.
   He is a past member of the Malone American Legion. He enjoyed camping, bonfires, fishing, bicycling, listening to music, playing solitaire on the computer and spending precious moments with his grandson.
   Survivors include his loving companion, Evelyn Gary of Malone, NY., one daughter, Jessica Reome and her companion, Matthew Hebert of Malone, NY., three brothers and a sister in law, Romeo Reome of Brattleboro, VT., Larry Reome and Steven and Bonnie Reome all of Malone, NY., three sisters and a brother in law, Luva and Marshall Gokey of North Bangor, NY., Sue Capstraw and Joan Reome both of Malone, NY., one grandson, Jason Davis of Malone, NY., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Alone with his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by one sister, Linda Musgrove and two grandsons, Ethan Reome Davis and Jacob Reome.
   There are no calling hours. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
