Obituary of Robert N. Morrell

Robert N. Morrell, 83 of Fort Covington passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, NY. He was born December 17, 1937 in Foxchase, PA, the son of Norman and Catherine (Acker) Morrell. He was a farmer and a bus driver at Salmon River Central School. He enjoyed hunting and collected HO scale model trains. Robert was known for his great sense of humor. He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Sharon Morrell and Elaine Landis; one daughter, Norma Anne Morrell; and one grandson, Douglas Whah. Left to cherish memories of Bob are his wife, Linda of Fort Covington; one son, Kennith Morrell of Ickesburg, PA; one daughter, Bonnie Whah and her companion, Kevin Schrader of Mahanoy City, PA; one brother, Bruce Morrell and his wife Betty Ann of Hatboro, PA; three grandchildren, Aaron Morrell, Jessica Morrell, Jennifer Whah and her companion, Oscar Whitmeyer; one sister in law, Mary Hawk and a daughter in law, Sharon Morrell. Bob is further survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Cappiello-McKenzie and Cosgrove Funeral Home in Fort Covington, NY.
