Cynthia A. Soulia, 70, of Malone, NY passed away on January 3, 2022, at the Alice Center in Malone, NY. Born on April 10, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Florence (nee. Mayville) Russell. She was a 1970 graduate of Salmon River Central School in Fort Covington, NY, and was a homemaker all her life. On June 10, 1978, she was wed to the late Walter D. Soulia at St. Mary’s Church in Fort Covington. He predeceased her on November 3, 2012. She is survived by two children; Corey Soulia of Constable, Dawn (Bryan) Jarvis of Constable; her grandchildren, Wyatt Jarvis, Justin Jarvis (Luna Mullen), a sister; Laura May (Roy Jr.) Barrick of Fort Covington, two nieces and a nephew; Tiffany Barrick, Kimberly (nee. Barrick) Fish, and Roy Barrick III, a great niece; Anna-Virginia Barrick and a great nephew; Bryan Barrick, as well as other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cynthia liked playing cards, doing word finds and watching TV. Calling Hours will take place from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on January 7, 2022, at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, NY. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home directly after the calling hours at 4:00 pm. Online condolences may be left at www.brusofuneralservice.com.
