Ramona R DiVita, 71 of Bombay passed away December 31, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 11, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY; the daughter of Frank and Carmela (DeSanto) Visconti. She moved to the north country in 1983. She was a member of the Bombay Fire Department. She retired from Sunmount DDSO in Tupper Lake. She loved to cook and enjoyed going for walks. Ramona also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents. Left to cherish memories of Ramona are her husband, Michael DiVita of Bombay; three daughters, Elizabeth Seward and her husband, Bill of Massena, Carmela Scott of Bombay, Nicole DiVita and her companion, Mark Dilley of Milton, VT; one brother, Frank Visconti and nine grandchildren, Gina Seward, Lisa Seward and William Seward II, Trory Scott, Matteo Scott and Sheamus Scott, Alessia Matott, Dante Matott and Lucy Dilley. She is remembered for being the quintessential tough love Italian lady who would always lend a hand to those in need. She also never turned down a good glass of wine.
