Obituary of Carissa Ann Parnapy Wilson

Carissa Ann Parnapy Wilson, 40, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at UVM Health Network at CVPH in Plattsburgh. She was born December 31, 1981 in Malone, N.Y., the daughter of Dale and Dana (LaBelle) Parnapy. She was a very loving mother, she loved cooking and enjoyed playing scrabble. She was also a very talented artist. Left to cherish memories of Carissa are her parents, Dale Parnapy and his wife Denise and Dana Pearsall and her husband Harry; three sons, Gage Wilson, Luke Wilson and Alexander Parnapy; one daughter, Kennedy Hutchins; one brother, Scott Parnapy; one sister, Katie Parnapy; one step brother, Steven Scott and his wife Dani; one step sister, Rhianna Roberts and her husband Josh, her Paternal Grandmother Jean Parnapy, her companion; Cory Bourdeau, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Paternal Grandfather Gordon H. Parnapy and Maternal Grandparents Fred & Geraldine LaBelle. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 at the funeral home with the Rev. Billy Bond of St. Dismas Village Church presiding. Interment will be in the spring. Donations may be made in Carissa’s memory to the Peru or Town of Plattsburgh Fire Department.
