Obituary of Christopher Jay Lord

Christopher “Jay” Lord, 49, of Massena, N.Y., passed away at his home on March 22, 2022. He was born on December 16, 1972 in Malone, N.Y. to David Lord and Cheryl Chilcoat, and graduated from Franklin Academy, Class of 1991, where he played on the football team. His parents survive. “Jay” enjoyed kayaking, mountain climbing and traveling. Chris was a truck driver for R & F Express in Chateaugay, N.Y. Survivors along with his parents are his sons Kristopher Lord of Georgia and Dylan Lord of Texas, his brothers Paul Chilcoat of Moira, N.Y. and Jessy Robinson of Malone, his sister Lisa Miller of Brasher Falls, N.Y., his companion Carol Niles of Massena, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. An hour of visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 11-noon at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. Online remembrances may be shared at www.brusofuneralservice.com.
