Obituary of Isabelle Moore-Perkins

Isabelle “Sally” Moore-Perkins, 88, of Malone, N.Y., passed away at her home on May 17, 2022, under the care of her loving family and Hospice of the North Country. Born on March 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Thomas Johnston. She was a graduate of Franklin Academy in Malone, and was a homemaker and helped run the family farm with her husband. She was married to the late Carl Moore, who passed April 16, 1984. She would later marry Robert Perkins on November 4, 1999 at the Malone Wesleyan Church. He survives. She was a member of the Brandon Center Wesleyan Church, and loved gardening, cooking, baking and helping her neighbors and family. Survivors along with her husband are a son; David (Kristine) Moore of Malone, three daughters; Susan (Leroy) Bannister of Rochester, N.Y., Melanie (Timothy) Sullivan of Malone and Nancy (Brian) Headdings of Wasilla, Alaska, twenty one grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. Isabelle was predeceased by her seven siblings; Harvey, Erma, Jim, Millicent, Hermon, Stanley and Ken, and a grandson; Corey. A funeral service will be held at Malone Wesleyan Church on May 27th, 2022 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Juanita Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery in Malone following the service. Donations in Isabelle’s name may be made to the Brandon Center Wesleyan Church or Hospice of the North Country.
