Obituary of Rita Stone

Rita C. Stone, 91, passed away Thursday, July 28th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was under the care of her family and Hospice. Rita was an avid animal lover and a natural caregiver. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed time with her kids, grandkids, and animals. She was an L.P.N. and worked at one time for Alice Hyde Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents: Albert and Elizabeth (Rushford) Halley, Her Siblings: Gordon Halley, Charles Halley, Ruth Sansone, and Eleanor Halley, Her Son: Rickey Stone. She is survived by her Husband of 69 years, Richard Stone. Her Children: Tina (Michael) Zebulske, Michael (Cherie) Stone, Denis (Mary) Stone. She is also survived by a very special Great-Granddaughter Molly Lavarnway. She has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. All of whom were her favorites! She was also survived by her dogs: Lucky and Tazzi. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank Dr. Bhagat for her care and concern.
