David P. Williams, age 74, of Constable, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the University of Vermont Health Network; Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y.

He was born on June 30, 1948 in Malone, the son of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Slyman Williams. In 1969, he was wed to the former Sheila Bassett in a Ceremony at St. Bridget’s Church in Trout River, N.Y. She survives.

David worked construction his whole life as a laborer for Local 322 out of Massena, N.Y., which he enjoyed doing.

Along with his wife, survivors include his son; Charles (Kathy) Williams, his brothers; Lawrence Williams, Jr. and Albert (Gail) Williams, a sister; Mary Gardner, four grandchildren; Taylor Fish, Adrianna Ormsby, Anthony Spoto and Dominick Spoto, and a favorite Nephew Thomas Williams. He was predeceased by his daughter Dava Williams in 2020.

David was an avid hunter and a loving husband and father who cared deeply for his family and their well-being.
