Obituary of Larry Savage

Lawrence “Larry” Savage, 63, of Bangor, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly of a tragic accident on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at his home. Larry was born on October 18, 1958 to Wayne (deceased) and Korleen Savage. On June 13, 1981, he was united in marriage to Melody L. Savage. Along with his mom and wife, he is survived by his children Tyler Savage and Melissa Savage (Heath Hutchins), granddaughter McKenna Hutchins, brothers James, Charles and Timothy Savage, sisters Katherine (John) Youngcliss, Donna (Doug) Frank, Victoria (Michael) Curry, Ann (Kevin) Burns, and Mary (Merideth) Mayville, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws. Larry also leaves behind many friends that will be remembered as his extended family. Larry was known to most as “no job too big or too small, he could fix it all.” He enjoyed tinkering on anything he could get his hands on. He loved spending time with family, playing cards, sitting by the fire and having coffee with his friends and telling stories. At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. There will however, be a Celebration of Life from 1-4pm on Saturday. October 1 at the Malone AMVETS.
