Donald F. Shatraw, 83, of Malone, N.Y., passed away on September 26, 2022 at the Alice Center in Malone.

Born on May 22, 1939, he was the son of the late Clarence and Frances Jones Shatraw.

He attended local schools and was married on June 25, 1966 to the former Anna A. Queor at Notre Dame Church in Malone. She predeceased him on April 27, 1988.

Donald worked as a pressman at the Malone Telegram for 33 years, retiring in 1996.

He is survived by his two sisters Linda Allen of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and Nola (William) Roberge of Liverpool, N.Y., as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Scott Shatraw in 1991 and daughter Lisa Shatraw in 2000, as well as a sister Esther French.

He was a parishioner of Notre Dame Church and a former member of the Malone Moose Lodge. He was an avid New York Yankees Fan.

A graveside service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery on Friday, October 7th at 1p.m.
