Lynn Lawrence Bashaw, 64, of Malone, N.Y., passed away on December 7, 2022, at his home.

Born in Malone on June 22, 1958, he was the son of the late Benjamin Bashaw, Jr. and Sylvia [LaRock] Bashaw. On February 20, 1981, he married his soul mate, and life-long partner; Barbara Jean Bashaw. She survives.

He was predeceased by his eldest daughter; Gina Marie Bashaw, but survived by his two daughters; Toni Andrews and Christy Bashaw. He is also survived by his brothers; Benjamin Bashaw III and James Bashaw, sisters; Anita Bashaw and Joyce Bashaw-Hernandez, three grand-children; Karina, Jarett & Lanie Andrews, and his beloved aunt Joyce Collins.

Along with his parents, and first born daughter, Lynn was also predeceased by his son-in-law Cory Andrews.

Early on in his career, he worked as a roofing contractor, union carpenter, and was later self-employed as a general contractor specializing in drywall finishing.

Lynn did his best to give his daughters and grandchildren a better start, and his greatest source of pride was found in their successes and prosperity. His tough love mentality will forever serve as the drive to keep his memory alive in the hearts of his loved ones. May it give us the strength and determination to keep pushing forward no matter what life brings. After all- It’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, it’s what you leave behind you when you go.

A private service for close friends and family will be held at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home on Friday, December 16th 2022 from 2-4pm.
