Michael Paul Briere, 52, of Malone, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2022 at his home. Born to Roger and Diana Brand Briere on March 28, 1970 in Malone, N.Y., he was a graduate of Franklin Academy in Malone. He was employed as a forklift operator at Mold Rite Plastics in Plattsburgh, N.Y. He was predeceased by his mother Diana Collins in November 2022. Michael is survived by his father Roger Briere of Malone, a daughter Stephanie (Jared) Marshall of Malone, a brother Mark Briere, his sister Monique (Stephen) Milkovich of Orlando, Fl., and 2 grandchildren, Kasen King and Kade Marshall. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and loved snowmobiling. Calling Hours will take place Wednesday, December 14, from 12-2 p.m. at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel with Rev. Billy Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
