Marjorie Peryea, 89, of North Bangor, N.Y., passed away on December 27, 2022 at the University of Vermont Health Network: Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y. She was born on December 15, 1933 in Lyon Mountain, N.Y., the daughter of the late Raymond and Maude Blair Bruso. Marjorie attended local schools, and on November 8, 1952, she would wed Romer Peryea. He predeceased her on October 8, 2014. At one time, she was employed at the Malone Dress Factory. Among her survivors are a son; Robert (Maria) Peryea of Connecticut, a daughter; Marjorie (Wayne) Martin of North Bangor, two sisters; Isabelle McNeil of Alabama and Patricia Ormsbee of Connecticut, her grandchildren; Christina Dufrane, Jeramie Charette, Kimberly St. Denis, Susan Peryea, Melisa Feimann, Joshua Peryea and Stefanie Walters. She also leaves behind sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter; Susan Peryea, six brothers; Myers, Glenn, James, Bernard, Ray and Leonard Bruso, as well as three sisters; Dorothy Houle, Peggy Houle and Betty Roscoe. A calling Hour will take place at 10 a.m on Monday, January 9th, 2023 in the chapel of the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, N.Y. Burial will be held in the spring in Brainardsville Cemetery.
