On February 28, 2023, Charlotte M. Levesque passed away at The Alice Center in Malone, N.Y.

Born on February 14, 1937 to Francis X. and Florence M.(Labarge) Gravell in North Bangor, N.Y. She attended country school in Burke, N.Y. through the 8th grade, graduating from Franklin Academy in Malone in 1955.

On November 5th, 1955, she was united in marriage to Benjamin P. Levesque at St. George’s Church in Burke. He predeceased her on June 11, 1999.

For 23 years, she worked as a cook at the William Manson Nursing Home, retiring in 1997.

Surviving are her two daughters; Annette T. Beckett of Chateaugay, N.Y. and Heather A. (Daryl) Hammond of Constable, N.Y., one sister Theresa F. Harte of Constable, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and Nephews.

She is predeceased by one son; Roger F. Levesque, one son-in-law; John J. Beckett, her parents, two sisters; Shirley Gravell and Eileen Guerin and two brothers; Frederick and Gerald Fleury.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone from 10-11:45a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon at Notre Dame Church in Malone. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
