Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frank R. Stark, 69, of Fort Covington passed away unexpectedly at his home March 7, 2023.
He was born January 1, 1954 in Malone, NY to Kenneth Stark and Gertrude (Deuel) Stark. He was the first baby born that year. Mom and Frank received diapers and a fancy ride home. Frank graduated Salmon River Central in 1972. He continued his education at Modern Welding School in Schenectady, NY.
On May 16, 1981 he was united in marriage to Joan (Leroux) Stark at St. Mary's of the Fort. He was a welder by trade. He worked in Washington DC with the piledrivers on subway and building construction. He received his Ironworkers card in Texas and worked out of that Union. He lived and worked with his wife at Seabrook Station in New Hampshire. In 1987 he took a job with NYSDOCS as an Welding Instructor and remained as a Welder in the maintenance department until his retirement.
As a young man, Frank enjoyed a good laugh, a fun crowd and a rousing political discussion. Frank enjoyed camping with a large campfire, welding and his black and white TV shows. He was the best snow shoveler in town!
