James Lane, Jr., 68, of North Bangor, N.Y., passed away on May 15, 2023 at the U.V.M. Health Network; Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y.
Born in Malone on November 6, 1954 to the late James and Nancy Lamondie Lane, Sr., he graduated high school and then served in the U.S. Army from 1972-1984. He worked as a mechanic at Ellis Automotive in Malone.
Survivors include his wife; Sheila Williams, a son Joseph (Shelly) Lane of St. Paul, Minn., two daughters; Geneva Lane and Joani (Chris) Grovenburg of St. Paul, Brothers; Darrell (Robin) Lane and Robbie Lane, both of Malone, sisters Lori Lane of Trout River, N.Y., Milly (Phil) Sansone of Malone and Kimberly Lane (Randy Brakeall) of Owls Head, as well as ten grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Mark, Charles and Gerald Lane.
Services will be private and at the convience of the family.
