Mary A. Reidell, 62, of Malone, N.Y. passed away on May 27, 2023 at The UVM Health Network: Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.

Born in Malone on May 10, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Rena Bashaw Capstraw. She was a self employed home health aide. She loved bingo, fishing, scratch off tickets and spending time with family.

Survivors include a son; Robert Allen of Constable, N.Y., a daughter; Angela Allen and her partner Tom Clark of Constable, a brother; Dick Downer, sisters; Linda Bouvia and Beverly Bogardus and grandchildren; Anthony Allen, Presley Black and one on the way; Rosealee Clark.

Mary was predeceased by her parents and her brothers and sisters Patsy St. Mary, Patrick Capstraw, Jenny Downer and Harold Capstraw.

An hour of visitation will take place on Friday, June 2 from 1-2 p.m. at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, with a prayer service to follow at 2 p.m. with The Reverend Billy Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery in Malone.
